Bug reports that explain themselves.

Every report arrives with what happened just before: a replay, the console, failed requests, the device and the steps. Nobody has to ask “can you reproduce it?”

What your users see

A “Report a bug” button in your app

The SDK adds a small reporting dialog. When someone sends a report, Trailkite attaches the last couple of minutes of their session as an instant replay, plus console errors, network requests and device details. They can add a screenshot and mark it up.

Secrets are scrubbed from network records before anything is sent.

What your team does

Capture with the browser extension

The Trailkite Chrome extension works on any site, including ones without the SDK:

  • take a screenshot and annotate it with boxes, arrows and text, and blur anything private;
  • record the tab, with your microphone if you want to talk it through;
  • keep instant replay on for a site, so the last few minutes are there when something breaks.

Report from any recorded session

Watching a replay and spot the problem? Report a bug from that exact moment. The report links back to the session, with the devtools panels at the same timestamp.

Send it where your engineers work

Create issues in Jira, Linear, GitHub or GitLab, or post to Slack, with a link back to the full report. Comment on a report at a point in the recording, organize reports in folders, and share a report by link with the access level you choose.

Optionally, connect your own AI model to draft a title, repro steps and a summary. It's off until you turn it on.

What you measure

Reports are searchable and organized in folders, so you can see what keeps breaking. Reports sent from your app are tied to the person who sent them, the same person your analytics and surveys know. See session replay for how recording and masking work.
